Retreats, Events & Classes Liability Waiver

Hosted by Natalie Kraus & Earthy Surf
(Including but not limited to Siargao, Philippines Retreat - June 15-22, 2026 at Punta Punta, Siargao)

Scope of Coverage - All Earthy Surf Offerings

This waiver and release of liability applies to all retreats, destination retreats, day retreats, yoga classes, fitness classes, women’s circles, workshops, pop-up events, private sessions, surf-adjacent experiences, wellness events, and any other activities hosted, organized, or facilitated by Natalie Kraus and/or Earthy Surf, whether held domestically or internationally.

This includes, but is not limited to, events taking place in Siargao (Philippines), Oahu (Hawaii), studios, private residences, retreat centers, beaches, parks, outdoor venues, and rental properties, as well as any future locations or offerings provided by Earthy Surf.

By registering for or participating in any Earthy Surf offering, you acknowledge that this waiver applies regardless of the specific event name, date, or location.

Release of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to participate in any Earthy Surf activity or event, I, the participant, hereby voluntarily waive, release, and discharge any and all claims, demands, causes of action, or liabilities of any kind against Natalie Kraus, Earthy Surf, Punta Punta Siargao (where applicable), venue owners, property owners, hosts, assistants, contractors, partners, employees, affiliates, and representatives, arising from injury, illness, accident, loss, theft, damage to personal property, or any other occurrence that may arise before, during, or after participation.

This release applies to all Earthy Surf offerings regardless of location, format, or duration.

Assumption of Risk & Participation

I understand that participation in yoga, fitness activities, movement practices, surf-adjacent environments, outdoor settings, tropical travel, ocean exposure, transportation, workshops, and wellness activities involves inherent risks. These risks may include but are not limited to physical exertion, stretching, balancing, uneven terrain, heat exposure, weather conditions, ocean conditions, equipment use, and travel-related hazards.

I voluntarily choose to participate and accept full responsibility for any risks, known or unknown, associated with my participation. I agree to listen to my body, modify movements as needed, and stop participating if I feel discomfort, pain, dizziness, or unsafe at any time.

Health & Personal Responsibility

I confirm that I am physically and mentally capable of participating in Earthy Surf activities. I agree to disclose any injuries, medical conditions, pregnancies, or physical limitations to the facilitator prior to participation.

I acknowledge that I am responsible for my own safety, hydration, nutrition, sunscreen use, appropriate clothing, travel preparation, and overall well-being throughout any Earthy Surf offering. Participation is voluntary and undertaken entirely at my own risk.

Venue & Location Acknowledgment

I understand that Earthy Surf events may take place at studios, private residences, rental properties, outdoor locations, retreat centers, beaches, parks, or international venues. I acknowledge that Earthy Surf and Natalie Kraus do not own or control these properties and are not responsible for the condition, safety, or maintenance of such locations.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with entering and participating at these venues.

Payments, Deposits & Refund Policy

For retreats and destination retreats, a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is required to secure your spot. The remaining balance must be paid according to the payment schedule outlined at checkout for each specific retreat. Payments made after the final payment deadline for a retreat are non-refundable, regardless of reason, including but not limited to illness, injury, travel delays, or personal circumstances.

For yoga classes, day retreats, workshops, and local events, all payments are non-refundable. However, with advance notice and at the discretion of Earthy Surf and Natalie Kraus, a participant may be permitted to transfer their registration to a future Earthy Surf class, event, or retreat credit, subject to availability and approval. Transfers are not guaranteed and are not redeemable for cash.

Earthy Surf and Natalie Kraus reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify any event or retreat. In the event of cancellation by the organizer, participants will be offered a refund or credit option as determined by Earthy Surf. Earthy Surf and Natalie Kraus are not responsible for personal expenses incurred, including but not limited to airfare, accommodations, transportation, travel insurance, or lost wages.

Roommate Policy (For Shared Accommodations)

For retreats offering shared accommodations, participants who register together acknowledge that both parties are responsible for fulfilling payment obligations. If one participant cancels or fails to complete payments, the remaining participant is responsible for covering the full room cost or securing an alternative roommate. Earthy Surf and Natalie Kraus are not responsible for resolving roommate payment issues.

Travel Responsibilities (For Destination Retreats)

Participants are solely responsible for securing valid passports, visas, vaccinations, travel insurance, transportation arrangements, and required documentation for international or domestic travel. Failure to meet travel requirements does not qualify for refunds.

Photo & Media Consent

I grant permission for Earthy Surf and Natalie Kraus to photograph or record video during events and use these materials for promotional, educational, and community purposes, including social media and marketing. If I do not wish to be included, I understand it is my responsibility to notify the host in writing prior to the event.

Agreement & Acknowledgment

By checking the box at checkout and completing registration or purchase, I acknowledge that:

I accept full responsibility for my participation
I release Natalie Kraus and Earthy Surf from liability to the fullest extent permitted by law
